Swinging History

Swinging dates back to very early dates, however, it is only recently that the style ha been able to develop and grow. Back in the days in which it started it was not something that was widely accepted, it still is not completely accepted by many today, but judging by the amount of clubs that are around, it is safe to say that people are more willing to live around swingers. The 20th century was a starting point for all of this and it has created a good impression on the 21st century.

The 60s was a big year for swinging, with the explosion of freedom there was sudden increase in interest towards swinging. Many people were able to explore new areas of sex and it became wildly popular. As the 70s came there was a sudden rise in groups, almost communities of swingers. This sudden rise created much more interest and acceptance amongst the lifestyle, with more and more people interested and getting involved, it meant that there was more relief amongst existing groups, which then lead to further growth of the overall swinging population.

There was not as much activity in comparison to previous years as the 80s and 90s passed, however, the continuous growth of swingers and the swinging community lead forth. The swinging community is continuing to grow even today, but the rate in which it is growing is much less. Things have settled down as for now and swinging has become a lot more accepted by many. The future of swinging is unknown as of yet, but with any luck we can hopefully see the community thrive and expand, the popularity of swinging has been very surprising over recent years, and with nobody to stand in the way, swinging will likely continue to grow for many years to come.
